Making the home buying experience transparent and insightful.
HomeSway’s mission is to build a real-time data platform for all parties in the home buying and selling process. To achieve this goal, we helped bring focus by honing in on the buyer, seller, and agent user journeys.

Understanding the home buying journey
During the experience strategy phase, our primary insights uncovered that the feedback loops and communication channels between the homebuyer and the home seller were inefficient and error-prone.
We created a path for sellers to share details that made their home unique — many not traditionally found on MLS listings.
Helping buyers express their feelings directly with sellers
Buying and selling a home is an emotional journey, and we identified that knowing a potential buyer's immediate emotional response is immensely valuable to sellers. What they liked — or didn’t — in the kitchen, what they thought of the layout, or even the amount of natural light. Having answers to questions like these help sellers and agents tailor home listing to the right type of buyers.

Helping the seller share what’s unique about their home
Another insight we uncovered was that for the home-owner the real beauty of their home is not the paint color or curb appeal, but the work that's happened behind the scenes — something that can’t necessarily be captured during a tour.
Visualizing the entire system
Our iterative approach to design allows us to move from design strategies towards visualizing the system as a whole — before jumping into the nuances of beautiful pixels and interactions.

Bringing it home
The application brought transparency to the communications between all parties in the home selling process. Buyers, sellers, and agents got a unique experience which spoke to the information that was specifically valuable to them.
